Andrew Neely

I have been in Okinawa since August 2007.  I came out with the intention of visiting Calvary Chapel Ginowan for a few months, but before I knew it, God lead me to cancel my return ticket to Iowa and to stay out here and live as a missionary.  As of now, I am engaged to a woman named Kayo, and we are both very excited to see where God will lead us in the years to come.

Currently, I am involved in CCGinowan as the worship leader, but I have begun teaching during the Sunday evening service (W2) bi-weekly.  I am also involved in the Bible College (CCBC Japan) as a teacher, and help out in various other ways.

In the past year, God has begun to spur my heart toward the outer Okinawa islands.  Most of the outer islands have no church and have never heard the Gospel.  My desire is to see Bible studies and churches grow on each of these islands.
